Virtual Bake Sale - Buy My Cookies (Seriously!)

Over the past few months, I've been getting more and more comments about my pictures and how you wish you were my coworkers to eat my goodies. First of all, thank you to everyone! I do read each and every comment, but because I hate Blogger's comment form, it's hard to reply to each one. Hopefully moving to Wordpress will fix that... But that's not why I'm posting (but seriously, thank you). How would you like the chance to have a dozen of my cookies mailed to your home? I'm not kidding. I'm offering to mail YOU (who live in the US) one dozen of my Nutty Oatmeal Ginger Sandwich Cookies. Not only will you be fed well, you will be saving lives. Erin of The Spiffy Cookie is hosting a Virtual Bake Sale that will benefit The House of Mews in Memphis, TN.

Erin asked me if I'd be interested in participating. Once she explained how it would work, I was in! Next step was to figure out what to make. To be honest, I didn't have time to make anything new. After going through my archive, I knew the Nutty Oatmeal Ginger Sandwich Cookies would be great to mail. I'm a chocoholic for sure, but I promise you won't be able to stop eating these! They are a nice change of pace from chocolate. The nuttiness of the oatmeal and pecans balance really well with the creamy ginger filling. Here is the direct link to the recipe.

So how do you win a dozen of my Nutty Oatmeal Ginger Sandwich Cookies? Just like any bake sale, you have to buy them. However, since this is a virtual bake sale, you must bid on them. The bidding starts early today and ends late tomorrow (April 11-12). Head on over to The Spiffy Cookie and start bidding! Even if you don't want these cookies, I promise there are plenty of other delicious treats to choose from. What you buy will benefit The House of Mews. I think that's one good reason to feel less guilty about eating these, don't you?

I'm going over to bid on these right now. They look scrumptious, and I love the flavor combo.
